Short answer
Choose a supplier who keeps stock and spare parts in the UAE, has a showroom where you can see screens running, uses its own installation team, gives a written warranty with on-site support, and itemises the quote clearly. Ask to see real projects similar to yours.
The 10-point checklist
- Local stock — cabinets and spares in the UAE mean faster delivery and repairs.
- A showroom — see the actual screens and pitches before you decide.
- Own installation team — not a different subcontractor on every job.
- Real, similar projects — ask for photos and references in your sector.
- Written warranty — what is covered, for how long, and whether repairs are on site.
- Spare modules from the same batch, so repairs match in colour.
- Known control systems (for example Novastar), so you are not locked to one supplier.
- An itemised quote — screen, structure, power, controller, player, installation and VAT listed separately.
- Maintenance offered after the warranty, with a clear response time.
- Clear communication — a named contact who answers in English or Arabic.
Red flags
- A price per m² far below everyone else, with no brand or specification named.
- No local stock — every module has to be shipped from overseas.
- Vague warranty wording such as “warranty available”.
- No site survey before quoting a large or outdoor screen.
